• DCABA has elected a board and holds meetings biweekly.  These meetings are open to all members! 
• We became incorporated in February 2018
• DCABA is an affiliate chapter of ABAI!  You can check us out here. 
• We applied and officially received our Non-Profit status in 2019! 
• We became an affiliate of APBA
• Networking is an important part of the work that DCABA is doing right now.  We have developed relationships with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology as well as John Hopkins University. 

• Create  Conference ---Volunteer today for our Conference Committee to help us plan our next conference
• Recruit more parent members - DCABA wants to make sure we have representation from parents to  hear what their needs are in DC and best advocate for families in DC!
• Become an official CEU provider - DCABA wants to offer CEUs that are meaningful to our members.  Please let us know if there are specific topics that you'd like to see covered.  Until we become a CEU provider, we will continue to provide quality CEUs through the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, or in partnership with other partnered ACE providers!

DCABA would love to hear from YOU!  You can share your voice by joining our membership, volunteering for a committee, sharing us on social media and more. If you'd like to attend a iworkgroup meeting but aren't sure when they occur, reach out to us and we'll send you a list of upcoming dates. 

• Public Policy Committee - Advise and assist the board regarding matters involving behavior analysis and governmental entities.
• Marketing/Publications Committee: Focus on distributing information to raise awareness of behavior analysis
• Conference/Programs Committee - Responsible for organization and management of DCABA's annual business meeting.
• Membership Committee - Focus on recruitment and dissemination of information to DCABA members
